Pilated Woodpecker Jr. Sure is Noisy Neighbor!
This Pilated Woodpecker was strongly calling for its parents most of the past few days. Mostly for food as these photos show. The last one shows the fledgling getting ready perched on the edge. Although I didn't see it fly, the very next day, it was quiet for most of the day. Neither the "Twins" nor parents were around the nest until around dusk when I heard them calling each other.
